Atkinson Plumeria Farm, 5239 Alzeda Dr, La Mesa CA 91941

Rooting, repotting, and transplanting plumeria in the ground are essential skills for growing them successfully. Mike will share what he’s learned in 25 years for each skill.
Because of the demonstrations, we keep the class size small.
Rooting is tricky! It’s hands-down the hardest skill for plumeria growers. To increase your success, you’ll get Mike’s comprehensive instructions.
That pot is their home. We need to make our plant’s home a welcoming, nutritious environment. Mike will demonstrate his process and share the supplies and products he has found most useful.
Re-potting is a big step. Your plant has outgrown its current home and needs to move on up. Learn Mike’s insights to minimize root shock and give it the boost it needs in his demonstration.
Your plant’s last move is the most important. There are many variables when planting your plumeria in the ground. Mike will discuss his proven process for transplanting.
This class is held in an intimate learning environment on his farm. He will not only teach you what to do but also show you.
