Celebrate your graduate with a handmade gift that will be treasured for years to come. In this fun, hands-on class, San Diego lei maker Stacy Atkinson will teach you how to create a beautiful “forever” ribbon lei — a lasting fabric keepsake perfect for graduations and other special occasions.

Using two satin ribbons and an easy looping technique, you’ll learn how to make a colorful lei that is both elegant and beginner-friendly. Customize your design with school colors, favorite color combinations, or festive themes for any celebration.

You’ll also learn how to create decorative money medallions to add a personal and practical gift element to your lei — perfect for graduates!

Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the event time. Please allow yourself sufficient time to arrive, park, and find a seat, as the event will begin promptly at the scheduled start time.

This class is held in an intimate, in-person setting on Atkinson Plumeria Farm in our open, shaded classroom. It is a rain-or-shine event.
